OneDesk Privacy Policy

OneDesk is the employee app of your employer's HR system, provided by High Speed Information Technology. It lets employees check in and out, request leave, missions and permissions, and approve requests. Your employer decides which features are turned on and is responsible for the HR records the app shows. This policy explains what the app collects and why.

What the app collects

• Name and work email, from your employer's HR system, to identify you in the app.
• Employee code and account (user ID), to sign you in and link your records.
• Precise location, only when you check in or out and your employer requires checking in at a work location. It is sent with that check-in so the server can confirm you are at the workplace. Optional work-zone alerts are checked on your phone and send nothing.
• Face-check pictures, if your employer uses face check at check-in. Pictures taken during face-check setup and at check-in are sent to your employer's server to confirm it is you. Face ID or fingerprint unlock is handled by your phone and never leaves it.
• Photos: your profile photo, if your employer lets you change it.
• Request details: reasons and comments you write on leave, mission and permission requests and approvals.
• Attendance times: your check-in and check-out times.

How it is used

All of this is used only to provide the app's HR functions: attendance, requests, approvals and your profile. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites.

Where it is stored and who sees it

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) to your employer's OneDesk server and is visible to your employer's authorised HR staff and approvers. We do not share it with third parties. Your sign-in session on the phone is kept in the phone's secure storage.

What the app does not collect

Contacts, health data, financial information, browsing or search history, and advertising identifiers.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your records are kept by your employer for as long as its HR policies and the law require. To see, correct or delete your data, contact your employer's HR team, or email us and we will help.

Children

OneDesk is for employees and is not meant for children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
